An exciting Purchase Ledger position, inside a highly motivated finance team for a extended temporary role.

Your new company
This developing and ambitious manufacturing company, based in Chorley, is currently looking to expand their finance team due to recent growth. This newly created Purchase Ledger position provides an excellent opportunity for you to join an experienced, closely knit team.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the company's purchase ledger, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for reconciliation of supplier statements and monthly balance sheets. You will also be compiling BACS run reports to organise and file with your primary responsibility being the processing of invoices. Due to the nature of the company there will also be extra responsibilities for you to undertake, which will only further contribute to your own development.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced purchase ledger, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills, through various outlets, are crucial to this role and you will also need to be confident working independently or as part of the finance team. Strong systems experience forms an integral part of the role, due to the fast paced nature of the company.
