Purchase Ledger Clerk

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk who is looking to join a local organisation. Your main responsibilities will consist of processing invoices onto the in-house system, reconciling the purchase ledger, matching, batching, coding invoices, matching invoices against goods receives notes and assisting with making payments.

The ideal candidate will have purchase ledger experience, you will have previous experience of processing invoices, matching invoices against goods received notes and dealing with queries. You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. You will have previous experience of using an accounting system to process invoices, candidate with experience of using Sage Line 50 are desirable but not essential.

This is a short term assignment but it may go on longer for the right person. Our client is offering an open and friendly working environment with on site parking.
