Proposal Manager - Permanent - Remote

Job Title: Proposal Manager
Contract: Permanent
Location: Remote
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience)
Hours: Full Time
Sector: Logistics

Responsibilities of the Proposal Manager


* Be responsible for public and private tenders and proposals, in any of our sectors
* Lead the proposal team within the sector comprising: Business Development, Operations, Solution Design, Project Management, Finance, IT, HR and Commercial through the defined Proposal Management process
* Write and design articulate, concise customer-centric proposals, presentations and other documents as required
* Manage the end-to end production of proposal documents and ensure that all proposals are completed on time with full compliance to the requirements of the customer needs and specifications
* Track and manage key outputs, actions and clarifications throughout the proposal process
* Lead Tender Reviews Meetings to drive collaborative sessions with the proposal team

Skills required for the Proposal Manager


* Strong proposal management experience in the public and private sector
* Articulate, with strong verbal and presentation skills
* A proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word
* Experience operating at a senior level and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to plan and manage resources
* Comfortable working to challenging deadlines, with the ability to adapt to change at short notice
* Experience in the field of supply chain logistics and external bid training
