Property Service Manager - Kidderminster

hyrbid working - 2 days in the office

£450 Day rate

Contract – Full Time:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for a wide range of estate management matters relating to the Client’s extensive property holdings and to provide advice where this is within the postholder’s professional expertise.
  • To manage the Client’s commercial, industrial, and other non-residential properties and holdings.
  • To oversee a portfolio of transactional matters relating to the acquisition, disposal, and valuation of properties, including commercial landlord and tenant issues.
  • To support the work of the Corporate Leadership Team in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Council wide services. 
  • To support the work of the Commercial Programme Board in increasing the net commercial income generated from the Client’s commercial property portfolio.
  • To lead the estate management service across all operational and non-operational buildings falling within the Client’s ownership.
  • To manage the Client’s appointed Asset and Portfolio Managers and Property Managers/Managing Agents in respect of the properties acquired as part of the Capital Portfolio Fund.
  • To manage the letting of vacant floorspace and property across the Client’s estate.
  • To manage, review and issue all leases and licences for occupation across the Client’s estate, including undertaking rent and service charging reviews.
