This law firm are looking for a Junior Solicitor to join their growing property litigation team based at in Northampton.
The team covers the full spectrum of property disputes for both commercial and residential landowners, landlords and tenants. They also act for a number of high profile, household names alongside a variety of developers, managing agents, investors and private clients.
The Role:
- As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload under supervision and support Partners on larger disputes.
- Your role will be client facing and you will be encouraged to develop your professional skills and own business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with new enquiries from new and existing clients
- Managing a busy caseload of a variety of disputes
- Taking instructions from clients, legal research, case analysis and drafting letters/emails/documents
- Assisting partners and senior solicitors on high value/complex disputes
- Managing compliance and cashflow on files
- Producing articles, video content and delivering external/internal training
- Developing and assisting with the implementation of business development strategies
Your caseload will cover all types of property disputes, including:
- Boundary and easement disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Dilapidation claims
- Contract disputes
- Breach of covenant claims
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Nuisance and trespass claims
- Break notices
- Lease renewals
- Forfeiture
- Lease extensions and enfranchisement
- Service charge disputes
- Trusts of land disputes
- Commercial and residential possession claims
What we are looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with post qualification experience (PQE) within the range of newly Qualified (NQ) to 3 years’ PQE
- Strong academic history
- Experience in property disputes
- An outgoing and friendly manner alongside an ability to adapt and work at a fast pace
- Strong work ethic and 'can-do’ attitude
