Property & Commercial Underwriter
Working for this exciting and forward thinking Insurer
Underwriting and servicing existing Property/Casualty Accounts as part of a driven, high performing Team.
Evaluating renewal business by using sensible and recognised underwriting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily a renewal-based position, with some new business, rating, and handling adjustment enquiries from clients.
- Deal with claims cover requests, to service standards.
- You'll speak with our accounts team to handle any financial queries that arise.
- Using proven analytical skills to provide statistics on some of your more difficult cases.
- Detect and assess risks that are considered both 'standard’ and 'non-standard’.
Qualifications:
- Min 3 years + relevant insurance experience
Technical Knowledge
- Strong underwriting knowledge and experience, specifically within the following areas:
- Property
- Casualty
- Liability
