Property Claims Handler

Based in Manchester City Centre, our client are a leading corporate Insurance Brokers and pride themselves on delivering a high-quality service, developing and maintaining excellent working relationships, and ensuring meaningful results for its clients.

With the volume of business rising significantly, an excellent opportunity has arisen in the established Claims team for a Property Claims Handler to be responsible for servicing clients and proactively handling a portfolio of claims.

This role would certainly suit a driven individual with excellent knowledge and experience of Property Claims, interested in progressing your career within a great working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients and proactively managing a portfolio of Property Claims, ensuring these are resolved as quickly and accurately as possible.
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, colleagues and insurers.
• Negotiating and obtaining the settlement of claims, dealing with claimants, insurers and loss adjusters as required.
• Carrying out all activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Prioritising work accordingly and actioning within service level standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of handling Property Claims, either in an insurer or broking environment.
• Either possess or be committed to working towards your Cert CII qualification.
• Will have excellent communication skills, be an active listener and problem solver.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
