Construction Project Managers role based in East Sussex for a permanent role
Your new company
Based in East Sussex, your new employer are a large leisure company going from strength-to-strength, with sites all over the UK. They are looking to take on someone new as they are in the process of expanding, and have been continually doing so for the past decade. With newly built offices in 2016, you would be working in a very modern environment alongside people from all disciplines of the sector, focussing on sites located within the South East
Your new role
You will be working alongside other members of the company's Property Department as they continue to make new site acquisitions and redevelop existing sites. The role will include overseeing projects from inception to completion up to a value of approximately £3m. Duties are varied and include -
- Developing new sites
- Identifying areas at existing sites for upgrading and development, including additional accommodation; sports facilities; restaurants and retail spaces.
- Overseeing the infrastructure maintenance and adaptions on sites
- Overseeing the refurbishment programmes for existing sites
- Involvements in Life Cycle works
- Managing Sub-Contractors
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have experience of new build construction and refurbishment contracts and of overseeing teams and managing sub-contractors. Knowledge of working closely with clients would be advantageous but not essential, and the ability to work comfortably in a fast track environment. The company work to a relaxed and friendly ethos while ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, and are keen that you should make this role your own. A clean driver's licence is essential in order to be able to visit sites located within the South East.
