The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive company in Bedfordshire who boast a range of facilities and are seeking a Project Manager to work within their Military Vehicles on a permanent basis.

The companies' employees are passionate about customer service and technical excellence and take pride ensuring customers requirements are met.

As a member of the Defence Vehicles team you will be responsible for project management and leadership support to the Defence Programmes Team who are responsible for validating, testing and support military vehicles for the MoD and OE manufacturers.

The day-to-day duties include:

  • Lead, manage and develop project teams or works streams
  • Cost control including managing budgets, actual spend and forecasted cash flow
  • Manage subcontractors and subject matter experts
  • Manage resources, both internal and external in conjunction with leadership

What we are looking for

  • Project management experienced with experience in adding value at strategic planning phase all the way into implementation
  • Project Manager qualification
  • Experience of working within the defence sector within a project management role
  • Knowledge of PDM systems
  • Able to obtain SC or DV clearance
