An opportunity has arisen to join the Business Development Team as a Business Development Co-ordinator.
As an organisation, NECS continues to grow and strengthen its market place presence, not only within Cumbria and the North East but nationally and internationally with organisations across the Health and Social Care landscape. The Business Development Team is an integral function, which leads on NECS’ sales strategy and is focused upon supporting and working in partnership with our internal service lines to ensure that we deliver our future growth aspirations.
The role of a Business Development Co-ordinator is busy, diverse and one which works at pace. A primary responsibility of this position is to support the development of proposals and bids therefore proven experience supporting projects is essential, as is the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Business Development Support Officers and Business Development Manager on the development of bids across a multitude of disciplines and NECS internal directorates.
Liaising with new and existing customers, the NECS Executive Team, Heads of Service and operational leads.
Supporting framework management and management information returns.
Supervising the Business Development Administrator.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in supporting multiple projects
Ability to communicate with a range of people including Heads of Service
Experience in preparing reports and other documents to a high standard
This is a permanent opportunity, based in John Snow House, Durham although in some instances, there may be a requirement to work across other NECS sites.
The post holder will report to the Business Development Manager.
