An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join this award-winning business. As well as ensuring that their largest deployments go to plan, you'll have the opportunity to build your project management career and in time to play a part in establishing a broader PMO function.

They have a clear vision for the future and are looking for talented, high energy, like-minded individuals who share their passion to change the world.

You may have worked in any of the following roles already: service delivery manager, service delivery team leader, implementation manager, technical implementation manager or project manager

Key responsibilities include:-

-Management of multiple customer facing deployments of different sizes and different geographical locations.
-Managing roadblocks and risks to projects to ensure that they do not impact the timescales.
-Preparation of Project Plans, Project risk assessments, rollback plans and communication plans.
-Working closely with the Implementation team to assign the right Engineers and technical resource to the right projects as well as other departments to remove roadblocks to the deployment.
-Managing the customer communication plan to ensure that customers are fully up to date on their progress of the project.
-Visiting customer sites for project review meetings.
-Attending site (mainland Europe and potentially globally) to provide onsite assistance during the deployment process.
-Building and maintaining the deployment process.

You will have some formal project management experience in a customer-facing environment, and in a technology field.

The ability to identify and manage risks to your project is essential. You'll also need excellent communication skills to manage both technical and stakeholder roadblocks.
Good IT skills and a command of the following systems is vital: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project Planning Tools.

It would be an advantage if you have prior knowledge or experience of any of the following;

- administering hosted VOIP systems, for example FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, etc.
- experience in a VOIP Service Provider/Telco environment
- a grounding in security including VPNs and firewalls
- an understanding of DNS, TCP/IP & NAT in a WAN environment

Given the fast-paced environment you'll be a self-starter with a determined 'can-do’ attitude, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
