Production Operative

Assembly of products in a semi-automated environment and manufacture of mechanical products. The role will be varying within all processes of production, this will include; manual skills, machine operation and inspection.

Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm

Location - Sheffield

Pay Rate - £11.44

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Operating production line equipment
  • Assembling a range of products on a production line
  • Measuring/sizing to ensure products meet specification
  • Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
  • Finishing products to company standards and monitoring the production process
  • Carrying out basic testing and quality checks
  • Accurately completing production records

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Physical skills; movement, hand-eye coordination, dexterity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
  • Experience in a Production environment is advantageous
