Are you looking for a Production role in the food industry?

Do you mind working in a chilled environment on longer shifts?

Reed Food & FMCG are currently recruiting for a number of Production QC roles, working for a busy team in a food company, based in Sittingbourne. The roles are either Days or Nights. The full role details can be found below:

- Production QC – Days and Nights - 

- Up to £26,000 per annum -

- Sittingbourne, Kent -

- Shifts are 4 on 4 off - 

Responsibilities:

• To ensure all product packaging and detail meets or exceeds the customer’s and legal standards.

• Maintain an understanding of each customers labelling and packaging specifications.

• Continually monitor labelling and packaging standards of packed product.

• Ensure accuracy of date coding, barcoding and all other pack and outer case labels information is correct.

• Ensure all associated promotional detail, ribbon and any other form of additional pack information is correct.

• Ensure that the correct packaging is being used as per customer requirements.

• Set up quality standards on the line before productions starts.

Minimum Experience required:

• Some production/warehouse experience would be great but not needed. Full training provided.

• Happy to work in a chilled environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to do repetitive work
