Production Controller

We are seeking a Production Controller to join our clients team at a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer in the North East of England. With a rich history spanning decades, they specialise in machining and assembling critical subsea components and systems. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience in production or supply chain environments.

• Release manufacturing works orders in line with MRP requirements / stock levels of the necessary materials.
• Monitor the flow of internally manufactured and purchased parts via the ERP system, updating shared company documents to keep all relevant departments informed on part status and availability.
• Create, maintain, and share effective assembly schedules using Microsoft Excel.
• Attend and ultimately chair regular planning meetings.
• Notify the customer-facing team of any potential schedule impacts.
• Adapt to the changing demands of the business and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Strong user of Excel.
• Analytical with good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a production or supply chain environment is advantageous.
• Open to individuals with a background in manufacturing, stores, or logistics roles who are looking to develop their skillset.
