Production Administrator

Our client is a leader in the industry of chemical processing and are based in Hertfordshire. 

Reporting into the Production Manager and working as part of a team, the Production Administrator is responsible for Management of all EHS Systems within, Absence Monitoring, Holiday tracking system, OT tracking, recruitment, preparation of documentation for the management team and providing support to senior management team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating and adhering to EHS best practice and procedure, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and in line with company policy
- Preparation of documentation for the management team and providing support to the senior management
-Maintaining office equipment and ordering stationery/ PPE for department
- Making room and services bookings. Setting up for meetings and booking travel/ coordinating expenses
- Provide reports for the Team Leaders and their teams to monitor the outstanding training requirements and book training sessions for the production team
- Attend training and key communication sessions to ensure a good core knowledge of process, risks and policy is maintained
- Kronos management and reporting each month i.e. holidays, sickness, overtime, training, special leave
- Organising Lean and 5S events within the production areas
- Support departmental communication requirements including team briefs, departmental tours

Salary - £25,000 per annum

You will have:
- Must be a strong communicator and the ability to interact with staff at all levels of the business
- Ability to prioritize and plan work and possess excellent time management skills (essential)
- Minute taking experience (essential)
- Expert in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven Administrative/office support experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- A superb communicator with outstanding organisational skills and focused
- Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, flexible and approachable under pressure

Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months.
