About the Role
Our Kemsley Mill site is currently seeking a Product & Quality Engineer, who will provide site wide product and quality support whilst ensuring our support systems related to, information reporting, specification control, calibration, testing coordination, ISO/GMP standards are complied with.
Reporting into the technical department whilst working together with the site operational teams, you will identify technical issues and get to the root cause of the problem, and proactively recommend solutions that'll improve our overall product performance. The role will require a level of routine and non-routine product testing as part of existing and new product development.
Responsibilities include (but not limited):
Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products

Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential issues as early as possible

Identify the root cause of product related issues using lean/six sigma techniques and recommend solutions together with operational teams

Perform quality analysis on products and processes to determine quality metrics for operating standards

Coordinate with external auditors and technicians to ensure compliance

Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements
About you
-
Previous work experience as a Quality / Product Engineer or similar role

Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, including customers.

A diligent, punctual individual who can complete work unsupervised.

Ability to manage own workload and motivated to deliver quality work on time.

Ability to work in a detailed, accurate and consistent manner.

Competent with Microsoft software applications and ability to learn new software e.g., quality data management and reporting systems.
