The Role…

Xero has seen rapid global growth and the UK market is key to our long term ambitions; with 250,000 subscribers already and 50% year on year growth are growth trajectory has been phenomenal - but really we have only just begun to scratch the surface.

We’re seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to help us unlock further opportunity and accelerate that growth across an addressable market of in excess of 5.4 million small businesses. This is a high profile role that will work closely with UK and global leadership team and will form part of a team of product marketing professionals tasked with delivering amazing results.

Working closely with our global product marketing teams and the global product management team, you’ll be responsible for leading the efforts for the core Xero proposition - our accounting platform used by small businesses and their advisers. You’ll ensure UK requirements are taken into full consideration as part of new feature development.

You’ll also be responsible for taking to market the core platform and launching new functionality that benefits existing subscribers as well as building go-to-market plans that help unlock more of the total addressable market.

What you will bring…

You’ll have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within product marketing or product management, ideally gained in SaaS/Software industry and the ability to develop deep product knowledge quickly. Additionally, you’ll have demonstrable experience in the creation and development of product strategy, positioning and messaging as well as expertise in conducting competitor analysis.

You’ll also have experience in conducting competitive analysis, writing detailed requirement specifications, gathering and prioritising customer requirements, communicating the product roadmap, and contributing to white papers.

A business related degree would be advantageous and a background in Financial Services or Accounting would be highly beneficial.
