Your new role
Your new role as a Product Development Engineer will involve a fully encompassing role within Manufacturing. No two days are the same with this role, you will have a full range of day jobs, including; design, project management, stakeholder management, liaising with suppliers, product analysis, testing and research & development. With the company being an international manufacturer, there will be elements of managing stakeholders abroad, including across America, Asia and Europe. With this, you will have the opportunity to travel.With this, it's an excellent opportunity to gain new skills within Engineering, as well as hone in and develop existing skills. To succeed in this role, you will need a mix of Interpersonal Skills and Engineering Qualifications. As a person, you will need to be a motivated engineer, who is keen to learn and develop. You will need to be inquisitive and keen to get stuck in. Regarding qualifications, you will look to hold a relevant degree within in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience within industry. Experience / Qualifications in either Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is a desirable.What you'll get in return
In return for the role, you will receive a base salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. You will receive an excellent training plan, a mixture of hands on training and learning on the job.
