We are seeking a positive Product Team Leader to take on an exciting role within our busy team. Reporting to the Head of Development, we are looking for a hands-on leader, who will collaborate with the team to ensure the effective scoping, design and delivery of our products.

We are in the process of refreshing our product suite to take advantage of the latest technologies. As part of this rapid change, we’re looking to recruit a Product Design Team Lead.
To fill this role, we need a leader to inspire and motivate our Product Design team towards building innovative solutions for the fast-moving industry. You will bring a strong customer focus to the team, and be able to balance their business needs against Gladstone’s commercial requirements.
What will you be doing?
You will be ultimately responsible for the scoping and design of the Gladstone product set
You will work with the team of Product Owners to:
Research and compile a product roadmap consistent with the company vision
Be responsible for delivering the functional elements against the roadmap
Maintain innovative thinking and creativity in the delivery of greenfield development
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to define the detailed software requirements
Ensure the delivery of software and supporting documentation to the business
You will manage and motivate your team of Product Owners to deliver great software, on time
You will supervise resource allocation to maximise productivity
You will supervise project costs and timelines
You will work with the R&D leadership team to strive for continuous improvement
You will work within an Agile framework with a team of developers and QA analysts
If you have a University education, or relevant industry certification (CSPO, BCS Agile Practitioner etc.), so much the better.

Experience of presenting to higher management
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders
Management experience: developing individuals and maximising team contribution
Experience of and belief in Agile development methodologies
Demonstrable experience of business acumen
