Devon based Public Sector organisation seeks skilled Procurement Professional to manage the purchasing function at a critical time in the organisations evolution.
Your new role
Your new role as Procurement Officer will see you take on a wide ranging strategic role that aims to deliver an effective purchasing strategy to ensure optimum outcomes in terms of cost and efficiency for the organisation. You will be tasked with delivering tenders and procurement advice to the wider organisation, relating to Public sector purchasing. Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Running tender processes (in line with OJEU regulations)
- Contract and framework management
- Drafting policies
- Stakeholder management
- Presenting to senior board
What you'll need to succeed
To be chosen for the role you must have a strong track record of Public sector procurement and have expert knowledge of frameworks and OJEU regulations. You must also have your CIPS (or equivalent) qualification and excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
What you'll get in return
Salary £38,000 - £42,000 + Benefits
