Procurement, Category Manager, Buyer
A newly created role working for this employer of choice in Norfolk. Having recently undertaking transformation activity in their procurement function, this high profile role will be responsible for driving a variety of procurement activities across a range of spend. You will support the development and implementation of the new Procurement Strategy and help develop sourcing strategies across relevant categories. Central to your new role will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders to secure buy-in, undertaking spend analysis, identifying opportunities for savings and to add value and managing the full tender cycle.
To succeed in this role you will need to have the experience and credibility to handle stakeholders organisation wide, and to be able to work autonomously on a variety of Procurement projects. Category experience is less relevant with consideration given to candidates who can successfully transfer their procurement expertise across and demonstrate the behaviours required.
