Unique opportunity to join a global Financial Services player. Our client is an international leader in its field and is seeking an ambitious and high-achieving IT Procurement Manager to join the team for 9 months. 

This position can be based in Bristol, Birmingham or Bolton and there is excellent scope for flexible working. 

The IT Procurement Manager will lead a team, drive forward sourcing initiatives and improve procedures across the procurement function.

This is a challenging and rewarding role which would suit a strategically minded and commercially astute manager - from day one you will be involved in leading projects, dealing with business requirements, and taking charge of supplier performance. 

You will be given autonomy and the opportunity to proactively improve the way procurement is initiated. You will also contribute to the operations plan. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent stakeholder management, experience of procuring IT services and/or products. 

Ideally you will also be CIPS qualified or have a relevant academic qualification, however, your procurement capabilities and emotional quotient are much more essential.
