Process Technician
We're on the lookout for a Process Technician to join our well-established client based in the Abingdon area with an immediate start.
About the role:
Process Technician required by a leading medical developer and manufacturer of medical implants to join their expanding team on temporary to permanent basis
A successful candidate is likely to have:
- Aptitude for working in production environment, where there is a strong requirement for team working together with strong task focus.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience and understanding for others, while also capable of operating to a disciplined, task-based approach
- Attention to detail, task accuracy and timekeeping.
- Good inter-personal skills
- Experience of operational activity in a cleanroom environment would be an advantage, though is not essential.
The details:
- Goods in visual inspection
- Completing process sheets
- Masking of all types of medical implants using tapes, paint and curing system
- De-masking and weighing of coated implants
- Packing finished products
Depending on candidate skills, experience and aptitude, duties may extend to operation of processing plant for coating of medical implants (including gritblasting, plasma spray coating booths, and electrochemical anodisation plant), for the company’s proprietary coating technologies.
Working Hours:
Standard 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will ideally be able to adopt flexible
working patterns when required, and also demonstrate a willingness to carry out shift
working (early or late) as required by the company to meet operating requirements.
Part-time employees will be considered for this role.
