Are you a skilled Process Engineer with a mechanical background looking for your next role? Well we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join the UK's original manufacturer and supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles.

All work wear and tooling is provided by the company. As well as a competitive salary you also get a 25 day +Bank Holidays holiday allowance. There is free on site parking and canteen facilities. The work hours are 7am-4pm Mon - Thurs and a 1pm finish on Fridays!

You will be liaising with the production team providing engineering support. Evaluating current production activities recommending and implementing improvements, using lean manufacturing methodology. A key responsibility for this role is to prepare and update work instructions for all manufacturing processes as well as conducting manufacturing process risk assessments. You will coordinating new product introductions, liaising with material suppliers and creating manufacturing process methods.

What Do I Need?

  • Experience with Process Instruction Creation
  • Lean Manufacturing Methodology
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC and ISO9001 standards
  • Have experience with document control, BOM generation & MRP
  • Knowledge in HSE and COSHH
