Principal Acoustic Consultant

This exceptional company is seeking a motivated Principal Acoustic Consultant to join their team in their Manchester office to work on a range of environmentally focused developments. The exciting role will include:

• Collaborating with a talented architects and design teams to produce elegant internal building acoustics.
• Leading international projects through RIBA design stages, BREEAM assessments, and noise monitoring surveys.
• Making a positive change in developments in residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
• Utilizing state of the art noise modelling software effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field such as Acoustics, Audio, or Physics.
• Corporate Membership of the IOA.
• Experience of working with architects on internal building acoustics design
• Experience in RIBA design stages and reporting, BREEAM assessment and accreditation.
• Proficient in the use of noise modelling software, preferably INSUL, CadnaA, Excel and calculation formula.
• Experience in prediction and measurement of HVAC noise.
• Experience in Noise Impact Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments.
