EPG Schools in Kuwait have now re-opened fully and our new teachers are arriving physically into country. The Schools are delighted to be up and running after these difficult months. Following significantly increased levels of new student registrations and the opening of new Schools, EPG Schools is getting ahead for next year and launching its recruitment campaign for Academic Year 2022 - 2023. As such, EPG will require Primary Teachers for its 4 schools with a start date of August 2022. Successful Candidates for Primary Teacher should have ONE of the following qualifications, as a minimum : Bachelor or Education Bachelor of English BA PLUS PGCE PME ( Ireland )The Schools are also fully accredited members of Council of British International Schools -COBIS and deliver its Educational programme in line with the Curriculum of England. Teaching teams emanate from over 15 nationalities including UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Europe & South Africa.The successful candidate should have excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills and be able to meet deadlines. A genuine interest in the all-round welfare of students is essential as is being able to work independently and as a member of a team. As well as teaching, the colleague would be expected to monitor student development, contribute to schemes of work, keep detailed student records and take an active part in the development of the faculty. Ideas and initiatives are welcomed.About you To be an outstanding classroom practitioner who develops students so that they become the best that they can be. Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, You will need a relevant degree, a recognised teaching qualification for primary or secondary education. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative practice to raise achievement. Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students.Key tasks and responsibilities Ensure the effective teaching and management of classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained and the best use is made of teaching time. Use teaching methods, which will engage students and stimulate pupils' intellectual curiosity including the use of effective questioning, clear presentation and good use of resources. Have an excellent understanding of the use of technology to improve teaching and learning.
