We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a wonderful 2-form entry primary school in Wakefield, starting in September 2024. This is a full-time position covering the end of a maternity leave until December 2024, providing you with the chance to make a significant impact during the time you are with the school teaching in this class.

As a KS1 Teacher at our client primary school, you will:

  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that inspire and challenge young learners.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Support the school's ethos and contribute to its positive culture of learning and growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with KS1 students.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment in KS1 and evidence to support this.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
