Your main duties will include:
*Inspiring and engaging with children and support staff
*Assessing individual learning needs and working on a group basis
*Maintaining positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
*Marking and monitoring pupils' work and setting short term targets for progress; assess and record pupils' progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognise the level at which the pupil is achieving;
*Being committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.
The ideal teacher will have:
*A Qualified Primary Teacher and holds QTS
*Previous teaching experience in Early years, KS1 or KS2
*A clear and adaptable approach to teaching
*A calm and consistent manner
*The ability to teach students with varying needs and backgrounds
Newly qualified teachers and strong overseas trained with UK experience will also be considered for this position.
