Aspire People working with are working closely with a primary school in Manchester who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work both with small groups and 1:1 with pupils who have been diagnosed Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will be working in an inclusive school that offers a broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils throughout the school. The role is to start ASAP and in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm)

Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
* Providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEN

Qualifications and Experience:
UK experience working with pupil with Autism and SEND is highly desirable.
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree relevant to the role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Even though the role is on a supply basis, there is the opportunity to be flexible with your time and work up to five days a week.
