Primary School Teaching Assistant

A Primary School within the Birmingham area is recruiting a Teaching Assistant. The position will start in March 2018 on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

You will need to have the following experience:

*Place Literacy and Numeracy interventions for pupils
*Have a good understanding of phonics' and can implement this into your teaching
*Can work on a 1:1 basis with pupils that require extra guidance within their learning targets
*You will need to be able to have excellent communication skills and strong behaviour management skills
*Have worked with small groups of pupils through guided reading sessions
*Can mark work against the national benchmark
*Create assessments and record the data to ensure that there is learning progression
*Have previously worked with SEN / MLD children in a mainstream school
*Help pupils reach their learning targets
*Encourage pupils to engage within their learning environment
The Primary School is looking for someone how can provide these follow experiences confidently with excellent co0mmunication skills and strong behaviour management.

* Minimum level 3 in education / childhood studies
