Pricing BI/SQL/Data Warehouse/ETL Developer required to work on a Hybrid model and to work at my clients HQ in North London. You must be able to commute to North London to be considered.

Job purpose:

  • To design, develop, trial, and maintain my client's Business Intelligence solutions, with a specific focus on Pricing/Actuarial deliverables.
  • This will involve working closely with their Pricing teams to understand the requirements, then building new data structures within their existing SQL Server data warehouse platform, in such a way as to be easily integrated into robust and efficient daily ETL processes.
  • You will need to be happy to work in an Agile environment, where throwaway proofs-of-concept need to be created, followed by iterative incremental development before arriving at solution designs ready for industrialisation, within a Microsoft SQL Server stack (currently on-premise, soon to be Azure).

Skills required:

  • Experience of Building new data structures within an existing SQL Server data warehouse platform
  • Experience of integration into robust and efficient daily ETL processes.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
  • Maintain, design and build within existing ETL architecture using MS stack: eg SQL Server 2022, T-SQL, Power BI Report Server, SSIS, Azure Dev Ops, Git.
  • Ensure business-led efficient Power BI dashboards can be created from the developed data structures to support pricing risk monitoring and modelling.

This position comes with excellent pension, good holidays and some working from home.
