About the Candidate:
The right person for this role will be an excellent team player with the ability to work on their own initiative, you'll preferably hold a NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care and Learning and Development or equivalent.
- Previous experience of working with children (0- 5 years) and their families is essential
- Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage would also be an advantage.
- Most importantly, you'll enjoy the rewarding challenge of working with very young children and their families.
About the role:
The nursery has a very friendly team, as the successful candidate you will provide vital support to children under 5 years old and their key persons with a range of high quality play and learning experiences. The role is working 30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday covering term time only and according to shift patterns. The role will be assisting at lunch and breakfast as well as after school club.
