Salary: £50-65,000 + benefits

Location: South Yorkshire - Leeds/Sheffield - Hybrid Working but ideally someone in the North of England

Chapman Tate Associates seeks a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join this leading IT Services and Consulting business, whom are dedicated to making the difficult feel easy for their customers. They specialise in Cloud solutions, IoT, AI and IT Managed Services.

Working within an established and growing IT Managed Services team, this role will be pivotal in acting as a conduit between the Technical and Sales team, assisting a number of existing customers evangelise and transform their IT Infrastructures.

You will help deliver HPC/Storage and DR/DPS strategy-focused consulting and design services, helping clients develop their Roadmap for adoption. You will have experience of various cloud architectures (Private, Public Cloud and Hybrid) and Cloud adoption models around HPC and related Storage Solutions.

You will have an good understanding of the different factors which influence or inhibit Cloud adoption and will be able to guide clients to make the right choices.

You will be pivotal in providing strategical advice for a number of internal and external stakeholders around Pre-sales support, Demos, Proof of Concepts, design work for IT Infrastructure environments and a subject matter expert for the Sales Team. You will work closely with the Technical and Sales teams advising them on best fit solutions and processes. It is important you have good presentation skills.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of managing and leading teams.

You will have a good breadth of knowledge around the Data Protection, Backup/Recovery and Cloud based ecosystem such as:

-HPC/Super Compute Technologies

-Veeam, Commvault, Acronis, Rubrik (1 is sufficient)

-Public Cloud; Services; AWS, Azure, GCP

-Virtualisation software such as VMware, Hyper-V and other related Cloud offerings

-Datacentre Technology solutions exposure

The role will also include work around the following (but not limited to):

  • solution opportunities for software, hardware, cloud and services within the existing customer base and within new prospects. You
  • Solution Proposals
  • alongside Vendors such as Nvidia, HPE, AMD, Qualcomm, Broadcom
  • Keep abreast of developments in compute, storage, cloud and virtualisation technologies as well as the wider ecosystem
  • Client engagements, shaping their Cloud Strategies and creating roadmaps for migration
  • Define, validate and promote quality solutions for an opportunity, bid or project as required

You will have excellent customer facing skills and must be able to hold your own in sales environments.
