Pre-Litigation Claims Handler

My client is a global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory services, it has an international presence and welcomes high-performing employees into its fresh thinking, flexible and successful working environment. 

Its national practice services personal injury claims from several office locations across the UK. The Leeds team is a major force in the local market and is ranked in the top tier for defendant personal injury by the legal directories. It acts on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognized as market leaders in this sector. It is often instructed on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations via its international offices.

Due to continued growth, it is looking to strengthen its team with the hire of a Pre-Litigation Claims Handler to join its team which deals with pre-litigated personal injury and property damage claims handling.

About the role:

Main duties include handling pre-litigated claims from first notification of loss; providing claims handling service for insurers and policyholders involving all manner of liability including personal injury, property damage and first party property claims of unlimited value.

About you: 

2-5+ years' experience of defendant personal injury and property claims working either in a legal or an insurance environment

Experience handling a caseload of pre-litigated fast-track and multi-track value liability and property (ideally EL/PL) type claims.
