Powder Coating Supervisor

We are recruiting for an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor on behalf of our clients in the ST5 area due to their current expansion of the business.

• Day Shift
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am to 3:00pm - Friday: 6:00am to 12:00pm.
• 40hrs per week.
• Full-Time, Permanent.
• Annual leave: 20 days increasing to 25, plus bank holidays - Plus Birthday taken as annual leave (If it falls on a working day).

Your will be tasked with contributing and managing the powder coating team, ensuring all products are completed to a high quality standard, department is achieving company set targets and KPI's, making sure all the team are adhering to quality processes and Health & safety protocols within the business.

Other key tasks will include:

• Leading the powder coating team by example by promoting a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
• Ensure all NCRs are logged and preventative actions are put in place.
• Report faults to the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Team.
• Ensure all Team follow the Job Specification.
• Help ensure that all outputs are "Right First Time".
• Carry out Toolbox Talks with the Powder Coating Team.
• Liaise with other Team Leaders on the shift.
• Support the Senior Management Team.
• Meeting/exceeding of production targets.
• Health & Safety Statistics
• Quality statistics.

What you'll need to succeed!

• Previous experience supervising a Powder Coating Team.
• Powder Coating experience is essential.
• Familiar with modern manufacturing processes.
• Ideally some people-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic planning and organisation skills.
• Ability to follow powder coating procedures.
• Ideally FLT License.
• Hard-working.
• Flexible approach.
• Quality-minded.
• Detail- conscious.
• Self-motivated, "Can do" attitude and a team worker.
