Post Mortem Support Radiographer

The East London Forensic Centre is looking for experienced CT trained Diagnostic Radiographers.

Our new facility in Walthamstow has recently undergone a multi-million pound re-development. As part of this the centre has purchased a GE Revolution Ascend (64-Slice) CT Scanner to undertake Post-Mortem CT scanning.

We will be the first purpose-built facility in London providing Post Mortem CT scanning to multiple coronial areas, undertaking a mix of forensic, coronial and non-coronial scanning. Our innovative design allows for the efficient delivery of persons for CT-only procedures, a game-changer that addresses bottlenecks in coronial processes. The operational plan, developed through collaborative efforts, promises to bring a new level of consistency to this critical field.

Candidates will be required to support the day-to-day operations of the mortuary in the form of undertaking Post Mortem CT scans of the deceased, including coronary angiograms and the necessary documentation required for each case.

Post Mortem CT experience not necessary as training is provided, CT experience is essential.
