Tradewind is looking for a PMLD teacher for a special school in North London. The role is full time starting ASAP with scope to continue into next academic year or become permanent.

The school:

A day school for pupils aged 2-19 years with a range of severe learning difficulties including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The school's goal is to enable each pupil to develop his or her full potential. A broad and balanced curriculum is provided that is differentiated to meet individual needs and which enables access to the National Curriculum

As a PMLD teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Planning and delivering appropriate lessons for pupils with PMLD
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Updating and setting targets for children.
  • Working alongside a range of SEN professionals

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

  • Full QTS
  • Previous experience working within SEN ideally PMLD or SLD
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
