We are looking for a proactive and experienced Planning and Stock Control Manager to lead our client's purchasing, stores, and planning functions.

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per year and the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the purchasing, stores, and planning teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Oversee stock control processes to maintain 100% accuracy and availability.
  • Develop and maintain effective planning systems to optimise production and reduce waste.
  • Investigate stock shortages and implement corrective actions.
  • Support purchasing negotiations and supplier performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards.
  • Provide regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and stock control systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in planning, inventory, and supply chain management.
  • Preferred:IOSH Managing Safely, HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3.
  • Required: Counterbalance forklift license.
