Planned Programme Surveyor (Worcestershire area)

£39,745 - £44,161 per annum (depending on skills)

Home based Worcestershire / Southwest Midlands (with regular travel)

Join our client’s growing team!

They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planned Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

This newly added position within their External Contracts & Delivery team and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to achieving their mission to build a better future by investing in affordable homes, services, and communities.

You will be managing investment works and related issues within their Severn Locality to ensure stock is maintained, customer satisfaction is increased, as will be contributing to the development and delivery of their Asset Management Strategy.

Some of the things they are looking for:

  • Significant experience in the housing or construction industry

  • Knowledge of Building safety regulations, particularly CDM, asbestos management, site safety management and fire safety requirements (including knowledge of fire risk actions)

  • A sound understanding of construction to deliver a broad range of property related activities.

  • A relevant technical qualification in construction or building services (e.g., HNC/ HND in building studies or equivalent)

  • Experience of customer consultation in a planned maintenance/construction setting

  • Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, contracts and procurement

  • Good management skills and experience of successfully managing project teams, external contractors and liaising with other building consultants/professionals to deliver programmes of maintenance work.

Although this role is home based, it is essential to have a full UK driving license and the ability to travel around properties within their Severn locality. Your business travel will be reimbursed from your home address as per the inland revenue mileage rates.
