Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day

Hours: Full-time. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher:

  • To lead a classroom of children and ensure exceptional outcomes for all students by embracing the school's values and contributing to its strategic development.
  • Maintain high expectations for every student; honour their social, cultural, linguistic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds, and strive to enhance their educational achievements.
  • Cultivate the school's values and convey their significance to students.
  • Effectively manage teaching and learning time.
  • Organise and oversee the physical teaching space, tools, materials, texts, and other resources in a safe and effective manner, with assistance from support staff as needed.
  • Regularly monitor, assess, report on, and evaluate student progress and achievements, providing written and diagnostic feedback in alignment with the school's Assessment Policy.

Applicant Requirements of the Physics Teacher:

  • Must be Welsh speaking.
  • Qualifications: Possession of a relevant Teaching and Learning qualification, along with Qualified Primary Teacher Status.
  • Experience: Proficiency in ICT usage and demonstrated strategic utilisation of data. Solid understanding of the National Curriculum, including its assessment, recording, and reporting procedures.
  • Compliance: Documentation verifying eligibility to work and reside in the UK. Completion of an Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check, clean UK Driving licence, Teacher Reference Number (TRN), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
