Empowering Learning Ltd are recruiting for a Qualified Physics Teacher to join a Secondary School in Ashbourne to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday and will include planning, delivery of lesson and marking of work to students in KS3 and KS4. The daily rate will depend on experience between £154.00 to £240.00

For your application to be successful, you must be a hardworking and reliable individual, who can work great within a team! You must have excellent knowledge of teaching methods and lesson designs, brilliant communication skills and a real passion for the subject you are teaching!

As a Physics Teacher you will have excellent subject knowledge and a true understanding of the national curriculum. You will adhere to the schools teaching standards and will ensure that students work together in partnership with the class teacher.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Collaborate with colleagues to adapt teaching methods
  • Motivate students through creative teaching
  • Maintain a safe learning environment
  • Communicate with parents and track student progress

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Education Degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous secondary school teaching experience
