Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Hybrid Remote, with agreed regular travel to the Bournemouth Development Centre
Salary: £50,000 per annum DOE + £500 per year benefits package
The Role
Our client is a fast-growing, technology-led company that delivers market-leading (and award-winning!) solutions and services to clients.

They are looking to recruit a PHP Full Stack Developer to support in the development of new features and functionality for our client-facing existing products.
You will be working as part of the wider dev team to build new software products from scratch as well as getting involved in code review, testing and providing feedback on code produced by other team members, and you will also be required to provide technical support such as fixing frontend and backend related bugs.
Candidates need to live within easy travel of Ringwood/Bournemouth as it is likely that regular strategy, architecture, learning sessions with senior members of the team will happen more regularly throughout 2024, to a likely max of 2 or 3 days onsite per week. We are a committed WFH company.
Key Responsibilities
- Excellent ability and strong proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel), Python and modern JavaScript Frameworks (React).
- Experience designing normalised database schemas (PostgreSQL/Aurora/SQL).
- Experience working with a source control system such as Git/ADO.
- Experience implementing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience of cloud provision platforms like AWS/Azure.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Previous experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
