Senior PHP Developer

£45,000 - £50,000 a year

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior PHP web developer to hit the ground running as a result of our continued success, you will report directly to the Project Director and take the lead on a number of large projects.

Your role as a Senior Developer will be to assist in the creation of high-quality, scalable web applications for existing and new clients. You will already be a highly organised Web Developer with extensive experience in developing robust web applications with project and team management experience. You will have the opportunity to grow a small team, implement new technologies and reporting directly to clients and management. You will work with clients to capture requirements, translate and implement across the team.

The ideal person will be very 'hands on', leading by example and with a passion for writing clean and readable, reusable code - ideally using CodeIgniter framework. As the Senior PHP Developer you will have a good understanding of the development process including briefing, coding, version control, testing & releasing and delivering web based projects to specification & budget.

Skill set:

  • PHP7 (OOP)
  • JavaScript (Frameworks i.e. ES6, NodeJS)
  • Great Communicator
  • Unit Testing
  • HTML5 / CSS3 / Bootstrap
  • MVC Framework experience (Ideally CodeIgniter but accept other MVC's)

Desirable

  • T-SQL / MySQL
  • Integration knowledge (mobile app integration, google API's, SOAP etc).
