• Salary up to £35,000 + benefits including training courses + paid research days

I am working with one of the largest production solution providers in the UK who are looking to add a Midlevel Developer to their team. They have continued to grow over the past 30+ years, their current tech leads started off as Junior Developers so there are great opportunities to progress internally. You will work with some of the biggest names in the telecommunications and entertainment industry and there is an option to relocate to their other UK offices once joining.

The Role:

This role would role would be great for a Midlevel Developer who is ready for their next challenge within a business where there are internal progression opportunities. You will get the chance to mentor and develop Graduate and Junior Developers and will work on a wide range of projects such as supplier portals, site translations, ERP systems and service systems. You'll be joining a team of 4 Developers who are working with a custom framework built with PHP. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience working with Vanilla PHP, experience mentoring Apprentices or Junior Developers would be great to have.

You will get detailed training on the custom built framework they are using but an understanding of core PHP and Vanilla PHP is essential for the role. The training will be done desk side to give you the opportunity to get 1-1 training from your manager. They offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days at home and 2 in the office once you have completed the training course. The training takes on average 3 months to complete so remember you'll be required to be in the office during the training period. Due to the office location access to a car would be highly recommended.
