PhD Immunology Scientist - Assay Development - Birmingham
A growing scientific organisation, based in Birmingham, are currently looking for a PhD level Immunology Scientist to join their company and devise and run immunology and immunodiagnostics assay development testing.
The company are growing at a fast rate, with over 100 people due to join them in 2018. Due to the growth of the business, there will be more demand on your role as new and exciting products and processes are developed.
We are happy to have applications from recent PhD graduates or people who have a few years experience in industry. The important thing we are looking for is the ability to problem solve and think up new solutions, as you will need to address testing on ideas that may not have been thought of in the past.
Apart from having a PhD from a immunology or immunodiagnostics background, you will also need to have strong laboratory skills and Assay Development knowledge.
This is a unique role that will offer you the chance to really think about your work on a daily basis. Also, due to the company's growth, the chances of career progression is very real.
