Production Technician

The newly formed IPT3 stream at the Milton Keynes site incorporates all Filling & Blending activities, this includes the Paracox Secondary & vaccine Blending & Filling areas.

They are recruiting a Production Technician within their manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. Our client welcomes from candidates across a broad range of experience levels.

All work must be performed in accordance with current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise) and local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Attention to detail is critical for this role. This is a full-time temporary role initially signed off for 6 months with a possible extension and offers an hourly rate of £14 - £16 per hour. The working hours for this assignment are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. You will also be entitled to 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays pro -rata.

The main duties will include

  • Producing sterile products using good aseptic procedures in a clean room environment.
  • Performing both daily environmental monitoring and routine monitoring for the building.
  • Follow SOP and Batch paperwork instructions for completion of job tasks
  • Participate in one or more of the Safety assessments for COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), Risk assessments or Manual handling (Training will be given)
  • To be flexible to Business needs, train and work in other areas as required
  • Support cleaning requirements in the Area
  • To maintain safe working practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE/ A level ( or equivalent), with an interest in a scientific field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of product quality, for example: demonstrated through Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Evidence of excellent attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Cleanroom experience desirable
