Personal Tax Manager

We are looking for a superstar personal tax professional to join an award-winning firm in their Chesterfield office.

This opportunity could suit an experienced and qualified personal tax professional who has cut their teeth in an independent firm and looking to join a larger and more established tax team, or perhaps somebody qualified with a top 10 firm now looking for a role with increased visibility across the firm as a whole.

Your duties:

• Provide good quality, commercial and value added tax advice to Private Clients of the firm
• Lead meetings, scope projects and deliver work to budget and on time
• Undertake client work for your allocated portfolio of clients. Portfolios will be reviewed from time to time to take account of incoming/exiting clients
• Support the Partners and Directors with the management of the department, the processes and delivery of work
• Support the Private Client team with technical skills, management skills, marketing, networking, etc.
• Reviewing complex tax returns as prepared by the tax compliance team
• Field opportunities that come in through Partners, Directors, the website and others

Your background:

• CTA or STEP qualified
• Dynamic and engaging communicator
• You will have experience delivering bespoke private client advice including Estate planning, property structuring and high net worth advisory.
