An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Personal Injury Solicitor with a PQE range of 2 - 5 years to join an award-winning law firm in their Personal Injury team.

Working alongside this Legal 500 and Chambers ranked team, the work is varied and interesting - from relatively minor to serious injury and fatalities. The key thing for this firm is client care and demonstrating an understanding of how an injury impacts all facets of a persons life.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to run an existing caseload made up of employers' liability and public liability (EL/PL) claims. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • assisting on higher valued cases.
  • financial management of cases and archiving.
  • taking responsibility for personal development and CPD training requirements.
  • keeping up to date with developments in law and procedure.
  • raising the profile of the team by attending relevant events and through engagement on social media.
  • supervision of more junior fee earners may be required, depending on your level of experience.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will be a Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years’ post qualification experience (PQE). You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • experience of EL/PL claims work.
  • good working knowledge of relevant law and procedure.
  • legal analysis and research skills
  • business development/marketing/networking experience, including the use of social media to support your role.
