We are looking for a handyman to join our school and perform various maintenance and repair tasks. You will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and fixing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues
  • Installing and assembling furniture, equipment, and fixtures
  • Performing routine checks and inspections on the school premises and facilities
  • Reporting any damages, hazards, or safety concerns to the management
  • Following health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Performing other handyman duties as assigned

To be a successful handyman, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a trade certificate or diploma is preferred
  • At least three years of experience as a handyman or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of basic tools and equipment and their proper use and maintenance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A reliable and trustworthy character
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Hours of work: 1pm-6pm
