Performance Test Engineer - C#/.NET, AWS

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate technologists to join our growing team as we strive to deliver excellence to our customers. You're a self starter who will be an integral part of an empowered agile team working on the identity and access management system behind our products such as the Eikon financial information desktop.
The successful applicant will be a talented test engineer or developer able to deliver using various languages and technologies including .net
Writing and executing end-to-end performance tests working within a software delivery team to verify impact of changes.
You will be working in a global organisation with development groups and business stakeholders in several international locations, therefore good communication skills are crucial.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the IAM development team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Produce, maintain and execute a robust set of automated performance tests to challenging deadlines.
- Analyse and report on the results of testing.
- Report and track defects through to completion.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and product owners within the organisation to understand their requirements of the platform and to support their use of it.
- Assist in the management, maintenance and monitoring of test environments.
- You will maintain an understanding of industry trends and use this knowledge to bring new ideas to the platform.
- Experienced Auto/Performance Tester, with good technical skills (C# .NET preferred)
- Proven experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS + Azure)
- Self-starter - does what it takes to get the job done
- Good problem solver
- Experience of variety of Databases: SQL, NoSQL, GraphDB
- Suggests process improvement following investigative, analytic or diagnostic services.
- Responsible for managing own time and responsibilities
- Sets priorities to meet agreed timescales; develops plans to meet short-term objectives
- Applies a wide range of policies or standards in straightforward situations
- Identifies and resolves standard technical and operational problems
- Decisions involve interpretation of data, planning own work, or refining the methods and techniques to be used
- Participates in sophisticated projects that affect a Business Unit or regional area
